Rezoning

All lands within the Township of Esquimalt are zoned for a particular purpose (for example Single Family Residential or Light Industrial) and there are over 50 zoning designations in Zoning Bylaw.

• is required to change the zoning of a property from one category to another

• must be reviewed by both the Advisory Planning Commission and the Committee of the Whole, before being considered by Council.

• requires a public hearing before being approved by Council
