Free Guided Dockyard Tours at CFB Esquimalt (Last Tour August 21st)
In celebration of the Canadian Navy's Centennial year, CFB Esquimalt is offering complimentary guided walking tours of the Esquimalt dockyard through to August 21st, 2010.
Tours cover a range of topics and locations and include: heritage buildings, world history, Canadian Naval history, modern warships, sailors at work, haunting ghost stories, centennial events, and much more.
The annual summer tour program began on May 25th and comprises a daily drop-in tour at 11 a.m., Monday through Saturday until the end of the season.
