About the Opportunity:

The Finance Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill a new full-time Senior Accountant position. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the Accountant will manage the property tax function, assist with the operational and statutory functions and reporting, and work with internal departments to identify, manage and implement financial systems and solutions.

 

Our Preferred Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation as well as a minimum of five years related experience in a municipal or similar environment. Additionally, the preferred candidate will be comfortable accepting a leadership role within the department and their customer service focus will contribute positively and effectively within a team environment.

Salary: $51.20 – $55.27 hourly plus benefits

Hours per week: 35
