About the Opportunity:

The Corporate Services Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill a part-time auxiliary Meeting Technology Operator position. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services / Corporate Officer, the Meeting Technology Operator is responsible for ensuring the setup, operation and take down of audio-visual equipment at Council and Committee of the Whole meetings.  The incumbent will demonstrate superior interpersonal skills in working with the public, staff, and elected officials and possess the ability to trouble shoot any technology issues that may arise.

 

Our Preferred Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have high school graduation or equivalent and one-year related experience in live webcasting and MS Teams conferencing. An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered.

Salary: $28.40 – $30.59 hourly plus 14% in lieu of benefits

Hours per week: Shifts vary, but the incumbent must be available on the pre-scheduled Monday evening meetings from 4:00 p.m. until the meeting adjourns.  Shift lengths will vary from meeting to meeting.  Dependent on meeting schedules, the shift may be split with unpaid time in between meeting set up and attendance.
