The Cities of Langford and Colwood, the Town of View Royal, the Township of Esquimalt, and the Districts of Highlands, Sooke, and Metchosin have partnered to form the Capital West Accessibility Advisory Committee.
Following the Accessible BC Act, this new committee will develop accessibility plans to address barriers the public faces in accessing municipal services and facilities.
As part of the plan development, the committee will send a Request for Proposals to retain a professional in this area to conduct public engagement sessions and gather public input.
