About the Opportunity:

The Finance Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill a temporary full-time Accounting Coordinator position. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, the Coordinator will perform intermediate level accounting functions related to receivables and payables, property taxes, operating work orders and general ledger maintenance. In addition to completing working papers and reconciliations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the property database.

Our Preferred Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in accounting as well as three years progressive experience in a municipal or similar environment. Additionally, the preferred candidate will have experience using the Tempest database, advanced spreadsheet and accounting software skills and exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $39.79 – $42.92 hourly plus 14% in lieu of benefits

Hours per week: 35
