About the Opportunity:

The Finance and Information Technology Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill a full-time Manager of Information Technology (IT) position. Reporting to the Director of Financial Services & IT, the Manager of IT is responsible for the planning, provisioning and overall management of the Township’s computer, network, and telephone services. The Manager will lead a small, collaborative team of IT Support Analysts and oversee the operation of the IT Help Desk. They will use their strong communication, analytical, and project management skills to achieve strategic priorities and create effective IT work plans that serve to meet current and future IT requirements for our growing organization.


Our Preferred Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of related experience, completion of a degree in a related field, and continuous education in the business and information technology field. Several years experience managing IT staff, as well as hands-on experience managing telecommunication systems and computer hardware and software in a network environment is required. A current and valid class B.C driver’s licence is required as well as a criminal record check.

SALARY $117,949 - $134,033
