Esquimalt’s Celebration of Lights is a magical event for the whole family.
Lights, music, food, Santa and it is FREE to the whole community.
Hope to see you all there for the start of the parade at 5 pm on December 1, 2024 for the parade and at the arena right after for a visit with Santa, a hot dog from the Lions and singing with your neighbours.
- We love having a great parade! If you are interested in participating in the parade please fill out an application.
There are many places to watch the parade as it runs along Esquimalt Road from Esquimalt Rd and Canteen Rd to the McDonald’s entrance. Don’t forget to say hello to the jolly old fellow himself at the end, as Santa loves to wave to the crowd.
After the parade, there will be hot dogs by donation to the Lions, music by Maureen Washington, local schools, a special guest or two and of course, there will be Santa, who would love for you to stop by and say hello. Cash donations will be accepted.
It takes a village to put on an event like this, so if you are interested in helping out on the day of the event, please visit the Celebration of Lights volunteer page.
