Gorge Waterway BioBlitz & Fundraiser 2022

A Bioblitz event involves the public coming together to identify species in a defined area (Esquimalt Gorge Park) within a set amount of time, using the app iNaturalist. The outcome is a contribution to citizen science, awareness of the area and our organization, and the fun way to get people engaged with the natural environment. Interpreters, biologists, and restoration technicians will be involved, guiding nature walks, and helping identify species. 

This event is a fundraiser and participation is by donation. Join us and be entered to win a prize based on the number of species you identify.
