Open house: Parking regulation refresh

The Township is going out to the community to better understand parking needs in Esquimalt.

We appreciate your participation so far. This feedback—along with research and analysis—will help guide and support any updated plans and regulations.

In this informal open house you will see the results of feedback to date and the resulting draft recommendations for the policy.

You'll be able to ask questions and share ideas with staff to help us refine the plan.

Drop-in open houses

• September 21: 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
• September 21: 5:30 p.m.-7:30p.m.
• Each in the Kanaka Room, Esquimalt Recreation Centre
• This is an accessible facility

Key outcomes from this project will be:

1. A new Public Parking Strategy to guide public parking resources and determine how best to manage its parking facilities
2. An updated and modernized Parking Bylaw to ensure appropriate and desirable off-street parking conditions are achieved through land development.
