DND to Install Fencing for Plant Protection at Macaulay Point Park

The Department of National Defence will be installing fencing at Macaulay Point Park to protect two nationally significant plants that are protected under the federal Species at Risk Act.

The work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday March 14th and completed by the end of March.

Macaulay Point is leased to the Township of Esquimalt by the DND and the Township maintains the 5.5 hectare site as a park.
