Do you have an interest in local policing? The Police Advisory Committee of the Township of Esquimalt is looking for Esquimalt residents with an interest in local policing to participate in a working group of eight to ten individuals.
The mandate of the committee is to 1) provide a mechanism for local residents to discuss policing issues in a working group environment, and 2) provide an opportunity for the Victoria Police Department to inform interested community members on the role of police in their community.
Individuals selected to participate on the working committee will meet quarterly at the Victoria Police Department, West Division, located at 500 Park Place in Esquimalt. The next meeting is scheduled for late November 2009.
