Please note the adjusted schedule changes over the winter holiday
- The yard and garden waste facility will close at 12 p.m. on December 20 for a staff event. Otherwise it will be open regular hours (Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00am – 5:00pm) excluding statutory holidays.
- The municipal hall closes at 2 p.m. on December 24 and re-opens at 8:30 a.m. on December 27.
- The Esquimalt Archives will be closed December 19 to January 6, reopening with regular hours on January 7, 2020.

- Garbage pickup:
| North side route (January 1, 2020): | Residents whose normal pickup day is Wednesday January 1 will have their garbage collected on Thursday January 2, along with the regularly scheduled Thursday pickup. |
| South side route (December 25 and 26): | Residents whose normal pickup day is Wednesday December 25 will have their garbage collected on Friday December 27. |
| Residents whose normal pickup day is Thursday December 26 will have their garbage collected on Friday December 27. | |
| Residents whose normal pickup day is Friday December 27 will have their garbage collected on Monday December 30, along with the regularly scheduled Monday pickup. |
