Rockheights Avenue will be closed to all vehicle traffic intermittently from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, while manhole separations are completed along the route. The work began on Monday July 19th and is expected to be completed by mid-August.
The project—part of the Township’s sewer rehabilitation program— separates sewer manholes from drain manholes, preventing infill and infiltration into the municipal drainage system. This infrastructure upgrade will reduce flows and result in cost savings to Township taxpayers.
The Township thanks residents and commuters for their patience and suggests using alternate routes during this construction period.
