At the Monday, January 11, 2016 Committee of the Whole Meeting, results of the Official Community Plan (OCP) Review kick off survey were presented to Mayor and Council. The survey results will help identify community priorities and design future public engagement opportunities during the OCP review process, which is scheduled to be completed in 2017. A total of 539 responses were collected, with the majority of respondents (83%) residing in Esquimalt.
The next step in the process is to present a proposed community engagement plan -- based on the results of the survey – to Council in February 2016. Once the plan is approved by Council, the public will be invited to provide input in the next round of consultation.
