The public is reminded that power poles in the Township are private property and are not to be used for advertising purposes. This applies to posters advertising garage sales and community events as well as commercial advertising. BC Hydro, the owner of the poles, has stated that those who repeatedly post notices may receive a bill from the power utility for crews to remove the material.
