Mayor Desjardins has directed that the Inclusive Pride Flag be raised at Municipal Hall in recognition and support of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in our community and in celebration of the 2024 Victoria Pride Festival.
The Pride Festival, which runs from June 27 through July 7, 2024, celebrates our region’s gender, sexuality, and/or relationship diverse community.
By raising this flag, we honour, respect, and celebrate people regardless of gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation.
In support of Victoria Pride Festival 2024, staff and residents are encouraged to continue making Esquimalt a safe, inclusive, and supportive community where everyone feels welcome to live, work, and play.
