Public Works Crews Using All Natural Mixture to Combat Weeds at Selected Locations

Public Works crews are performing a trial using a mixture of ingredients developed within the department to combat weeds on Township curbs.

Crews will be manually spraying the non-toxic mixture – containing vinegar, salt, water and dish soap – at selected locations along roadways today to test the solution’s effectiveness. If it is found to be effective it may be used on a wider basis in the future.
