Business owners in the Township of Esquimalt are encouraged to renew their licences by January 31st, 2013. After that date an additional licence fee of 10% (with a minimum fee of $25) will be applied. All businesses must have a valid licence to legally operate in the Township.
Failure to renew a business licence is an offence under the Township’s Business Licence and Regulation Bylaw No. 2482, which provides for fines of up to $2,000. If you are no longer operating your business in Esquimalt, please contact the Business Licence Clerk at 250-414-7157 so we can update our records.
Business licence renewal payments can be made:
- By mail to: Township of Esquimalt, 1229 Esquimalt Road, Esquimalt, B.C. V9A 3P1
- In person at the Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road where cash, debit or cheque payments are accepted. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
