Jacob is in his second term as an Esquimalt councillor. He has a long family history in Esquimalt (six generations in the region and five in Esquimalt). He continues to choose to make Esquimalt his home because of its vibrant and close-knit community.
Jacob’s career is in public sector financial management, capital project delivery, and governance. He has a Master in Public Administration (MPA), is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA), and holds certifications in project management, change management, construction law, and local government leadership.
Jacob spends his free time with his family, tending to the house and garden, or running (slowly). He lives in the Saxe Point neighbourhood with his wife, Maria, and two sons, Elias and Arthur.
