The Esquimalt Recreation Centre will be closed on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 8:00am with an anticipated re-opening of 4:00pm due to a scheduled power outage as the transformer is replaced.
Please note the following changes to PROGRAM locations for October 18th only:
- Program participants of Music Together, French Creative Play, Drawing Studio, Crib, Scrabble, Licensed Preschool and Out of School Care, will run as usual. Staff will be available to provide access to the program space via the east entrance (facing Bullen Field). Program spaces will be:
- Music Together: Craigflower Room at Recreation Centre
- French Creative Play: Constance Cove Room at Recreation Centre
- Drawing Studio: Craigflower Room at Recreation Centre
- Crib: Viewfield Room at Recreation Centre
- Scrabble: Viewfield Room at Recreation Centre
- Out of School Care Voyagers Drop Off and Pick Up: Pioneer A at Recreation Centre
- Out of School Care Bucanneers Drop Off and Pick Up: Constance Cove at Recreation Centre
- Out of School Care Rangers Drop Off: Pionneer A/B at Recreation Centre
- Out of School Care Rangers Pick Up: Teen Centre, 535 Fraser Street - Parking available in the Esquimalt Recreation Centre Parking Lot
- Licensed Preschool: Crow's Nest Lounge at the Archie Browning Sports Centre, 1149 Esquimalt Road.
- Weather permitting, the 9:15 a.m. Total Step Challenge will be a modified Power Circuit outside in the lacrosse box, located at the south end of the Esquimalt Recreation Centre adjacent to Lyall Road.
- Stay and Play Childminding, and Kindergym are cancelled.
- Noon Hour Yoga will take place in the Council Chambers at Esquimalt Municipal Hall (1229 Esquimalt Road). Pass holders, please show your passes to the instructor; drop in admissions will be received at the Municipal Hall front desk.
