The access road into Esquimalt Gorge Park off of Tillicum Road has been closed to facilitate site setup and staging for the Esquimalt Centennial Community Celebration on Saturday September 8th. The transit loop will remain open all weekend to allow for passenger drop-off. The access road will remain closed until Sunday September 9th at 10 a.m.
Residents are reminded that there will be no parking on-site for the celebration. A free shuttle service is being provided between the Archie Browning Sports Centre and the park entrance. The shuttle will run in both directions every 30 minutes starting at 11 a.m. Parking has also been designated at the Sports Centre for those who wish to park and ride.
