Commuters and residents can continue to expect delays along Admiral and Colville Roads while the intersection upgrading project continues. Weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., traffic may be reduced to single lane as required by construction crews. Some commuters are reporting significant delays outside of this time period as well.
Construction for the upgrading of the Admirals and Colville Road intersection began on August 13 and will continue through to November.
The Admirals and Colville Roads intersection project is intended to improve safety and accessibility for the community. The improvements include a traffic light, safety gates for trains, left turn lanes on Admirals Road and right turn lanes at all four corners of the intersection.
