With the construction of Esquimalt Town Square set to begin, the electric vehicle charging station located at Municipal Hall will be closed starting March 6, 2017. The station will be relocated to the parking lot west of Memorial Park on Esquimalt Road within the next several weeks, and re-open once electrical and communication services are in place for its operation.
In addition, due to the increasing demand for the electric vehicle charging station, a user fee of $1.00 per hour will come into effect beginning July 1, 2017.
All user fees collected will be used to fund sustainability initiatives through the Township’s Sustainability Reserve Fund. Payment can be made by downloading the FLO mobile app available for Apple and Android phones.
