The Pride Flag be raised at Municipal Hall in recognition and support of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in our community and in celebration of Pride Week 2022.
The flag will be raised on June 23 until July 4, 2022.
Pride Week honours, respects, and celebrates people regardless of gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation, and strives to help us recognize our differences and uniqueness and promote and build community through education and understanding.
Pride week encourages staff and residents to make Esquimalt a welcoming and inclusive place for all people to live, work, and play in a safe and supportive environment.
Pride Week activities start on June 23 and run through July 2, 2022.
