June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
The Township of Esquimalt is on the unceded territory of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We thank them for caring for this land and look forward to working with them in partnership as we continue to build this great township together.
