BC Day 2023- schedule changes

We have adjusted hours for the BC Day long weekend

Esquimalt Municipal Hall and the Esquimalt Archives will be closed Monday, August 7.

There are some adjustments to garbage pick-up days for the north side route on August 7: 

• Residents whose normal collection day is Monday August 7 will have their garbage collected on Tuesday, along with the regularly scheduled Tuesday pick up. No other routes will be affected by the holiday.

Yard & garden drop-off facility

• Monday August 7 - Regular closure
• Tuesday August 4 - Closed (BC Day statutory holiday observed)

Our recreation centre is open on the weekend

• Reception and wellness centre (gym) will be open regular hours: 5:30 am - 10:30 pm
• The aquatics facility will be open 9 am–9 pm on Monday August 7
