About the Opportunity:

The Corporate Services Department is seeking a motivated individual to fill a part-time auxiliary Archives Research Assistant position. The Archives Research Assistant provides support to the Archivist with research requests from internal and external parties and supports the maintenance and preservation of a wide variety of historical records and archival materials relating to the Municipality.  The successful candidate will assist with set up and attend outreach and volunteer recognition events and must be able to interact effectively with public and staff.

 

Our Preferred Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have completed Grade 12 supplemented by post secondary coursework in records management, archival, library studies or related field.

Salary: $30.79 – $33.16 hourly plus 14% in lieu of benefits

Hours per week: up to 14 hours, schedule to be determined
