    In collaboration with the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie and Réseau Dialogue, this event offers an evening of laughter in company of emerging Franco-Canadian comedy talent. On stage, find Évelyne Roy-Molgat (ON), Garihanna Jean-Louis (QC), Ryan Doucette (NE) and Jérémie Larouche (QC), who will entertain you with their unique brand of humor. 

    The show will be taking place at the Victor-Brodeur school theatre, a great opportunity to get together and have a good time.

    Garihanna Jean-Louis

    Comedian for now more than 20 years, Garihanna became in 2017, the first black female comedian to graduate from the École Nationale de l’Humour. With her dazzling energy and mango-maple-flavored humor, this bipatride, who holds several major festivals to her credit, shares her exotic, colorful universe around the world in 3 different languages. She has received numerous awards and accolades since her debut in the world of comedy. Recipient of the Artist of the Year Award at ZOOFEST in 2022, a Gemini Award in 2021, Comedian of the Year in 2019, and Discovery of the Year in 2017 and 2018 at the Festival Internationale du Rire, to name but a few. She often says that humor is cultural, but laughter is universal. What better communicator and contagion than laughter to stay positive, inclusive and open to the world.

    Ryan Doucette 

    Ryan Doucette is an Acadian actor, comedian and screenwriter from La Baie Sainte Marie, Nova Scotia. Winner of the prestigious Grand-Pré Award in 2020, awarded by the Creative Nova Scotia Awards, he is best known for his work as host and writer of the hit Unis TV show & Le sens du punch. On stage, Doucette is an accomplished comedian having performed in cities such as Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton and Halifax, among others. He has participated in a number of renowned festivals, including the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Festival RIEN in Caraquet, the Minifest in Montreal, and the Hubcap Comedy Festival in Moncton. Most recently, he successfully concluded the tour of his one-man show “Punch moi” as part of ROSEQ 2022, consolidating his place on the French-Canadian comedy scene.

    Jérémie Larouche

    A graduate and now teacher at the École nationale de l’humour, Jérémie knows how to draw you into his world of fantasy and romance with his very own way of telling stories. storytelling. Nominated at the 2015 Olivier Awards for Author of the Year, he won the Coup de cœur des médias, Humoriste de l’année and Meilleur spectacle solo awards for his first 60 minutes at ZOOFEST, as well as the Coup de cœur du ZOOFEST 2016 for his adult puppet show LA SAGA DES ÉTOILES, which a parodic summary of the first 6 installments of the Star Wars saga. He currently hosts PAS PLUS BÊTES QUE NOUS (season 4) on UNIS TV, CULTIVE TON COMIQUE on ICI Tou.tv and QUESTON SUIVANTE on Radio-Canada’s @mordu platform. He received 5 nominations at the Gémeaux 2021 for PAS PLUS BÊTES QUE NOUS and CULTIVE TON COMIQUE, including best animation, best program and best script.

    Evelyne Roy-Molgat

    Franco-Ontarian comedian Evelyne Roy-Molgat has been treading the boards since the age of 14. At just 23, she’s already got plenty of experience, as a host at the legendary Bordel Comédie Club, as a comedian at several festivals, and most recently with her own solo show. She’ll charm you with her infectious energy and repartee.
