About the Opportunity:

The Township is looking for a detailed-oriented team player to join the dynamic, diverse, and results-focussed Corporate Services Team dedicated to delivering exceptional services to the community. This role will provide significant support administering Freedom of Information requests, providing advice on information and privacy policy development, drafting and reviewing Privacy Impact Assessments, and supporting records and information management.

Our Preferred Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have graduated high school or equivalent supplemented by courses in Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy, records management and a minimum of two years of sound related experience in a local government or other government environment. This position is best suited for someone passionate about applying privacy principles in a public body and who enjoys interpreting and applying established policies and legislated requirements.   We are seeking an individual who can confidently and professionally work with diverse clientele with an ability to influence others to comply with established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will work efficiently under pressure with competing tasks to firm deadlines, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, manage confidential and sensitive information, and be self-directed and maintain collaborative professional relationships. 

Salary: $33.59 – $36.19 hourly plus benefits (2024 rates)

Hours per week: 35
